Jordy
was a "give-away" dog who used to live in nearby DeBary. The family he lived
with had a second child and decided they didn't want Jordy any more. After a
neighbor of the family saw Jordy's story in the Journey's End newsletter, he
said that it's a good thing they gave Jordy up because apparently the
older boy had been abusing him by kicking him and teasing him.
Jordy was a gentle, shy dog. He had some large benign tumors a few years
ago, but he recovered. He eventually got thyroid cancer and passed away
at a very old age. |
