Nikki was a wolf hybrid. She was found in the woods in the Ocala area,
and was underweight and in poor condition. She was around 3 years old
when she came to Journey's End. She lived to be 20, not unusual for a
wolf hybrid.
Nikki was a sweet-natured, gentle dog. She was a greeter, usually
hanging out on the front patio where she would be first to meet
visitors. She was a big dog with a loud bark, but she was friendly and would wag her tail
in greeting. She got along with everyone, animals and humans alike.
Toward the end, Nikki needed help standing and walking, and it finally
got too painful for her even to stand, so she finally had to be put
down.
