Coco

Coco is a toy poodle, around 10 to 12 years old and weighing only 5 pounds. His owner was an elderly lady who had to go into a nursing home. Her daughter-in-law took Coco briefly, but she said he wouldn't eat and was messing up her house, and she was unwilling to keep him another day. Florence agreed to take him in.

When the daughter-in-law arrived at Journey's End, she had a cardboard box with no air holes that had been taped shut.  In it was tiny Coco.

Coco went to the vet shortly after arriving, and he had to have 10 teeth pulled. He was found to have a little arthritis, but his vision is good and he is in pretty good overall condition. He began eating better after his teeth were pulled.

Coco lives in the PeeWee room. He's quiet and a little shy, but he loves lap time.
