 Penny
is an Italian greyhound, around 8 years old. Florence got a call from a
man who said Penny had been left in a cage outside his house, but the
employees at the vet's office recognized Penny and said that she had
belonged to the man's girlfriend.
Penny had lived in at least 5 different homes before finding a permanent
home at Journey's End. In her past life, she had broken her leg twice
because she is aggressive with larger dogs and was injured by them.
She lives with Troubles and
Louie in the livingroom, to keep her safe from
the bigger dogs, and because she doesn't like the smaller dogs in the
PeeWee room. She is friendly and easy-going with people, and she puts up
with Louie's constant playfulness.
