 Sara
was found along a highway. It was hunting season, and she may have been
lost or abandoned during hunting.
When she first arrived, Florence said she was the thinnest dog she had
ever seen, and she had a deep look of sadness in her eyes.
Sara soon put on some weight and became a lot more
active. For a long time she lived with the other big dogs in the back room,
but now lives with Lola and
Dede. She is friendly, quiet, and well-mannered.
Sara recently had her spleen removed due to a large, non-invasive
cancerous tumor.
She is doing very well and is back to her old self again.
