 Raffy
is a quarterhorse cross who
came to Journey's End along with
Vinny. They were rescued from an auction by
a student who rode them while she was in high school. She won a lot of awards
with Raffy, but she lost interest in the horses after she went to college, so
he and Vinny came to Journey's End.
Raffy can no longer be ridden, but he is exercised to keep him healthy.
Raffy is the leader of the herd of horses here. The other horses won't
come near when he is getting his treats. He knows how to "smile", bow,
or shake hooves
in exchange for a treat.
